Hall of Fame trainer Freddie Roach wants to see Manny Pacquiao exact vengeance against Australian Jeff Horn then ride into the sunset.

“I hope that he goes forward with that fight and that after it, he retires from boxing,” Roach told ESPN Deportes.

Win or lose, Roach believes the time has come for Pacquiao’s to call it a day owing to his hectic schedule being a senator first and foremost.

Last July before more than 51,000 fans at Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane, Pacquiao dropped a decision to Horn in what went down as a huge upset.

A second meeting was supposed to take place this month as there was a rematch clause but Pacquiao opted to withdraw because of his busy Senate schedule.

Hall of Fame promoter Bob Arum of Top Rank has assured Pacquiao that he can arrange a Horn rematch in the first quarter of 2018 provided that the eight-division champion commits.
