UFC superstar Conor McGregor revealed his “wish” for 2019 by making it known that he intends to fight kickboxing sensation Tenshin Nasukawa.

“I wish to go to Tokyo to face Tenshin Nasukawa in a Mixed Martial Arts exhibition bout,” Conor McGregor said on Twitter.

The Irishman even gave a timetable on when he would prefer the fight to happen:

“Before this summer. Please arrange this, this instant. Yours sincerely, The champ champ. @ufc @ParadigmSM”

Nasukawa is best known to a lot of people for his first-round knockout (KO) loss to Floyd Mayweather in his boxing debut in the main event of RIZIN 14 on New Year’s Eve in Saitama, Japan. But beyond that, Nasukawa is a Japanese kickboxing prodigy who also holds a 4-0 record in mixed martial arts (MMA).

Nasukawa was happy to oblige but this time around, the 20-year-old spitfire wants to fight on his own terms.

“Dear Mr. McGregor. Thank you very much for remembering my name. I’m honored that you would even consider fighting me,” Nasukawa wrote on an Instagram post.

“58kg, kickboxing rules would probably get us in the ring sometime in the near future. I will fight my RISE world GP this year so please watch your diet and wait for me!”

Like Nasukawa, McGregor was also stopped by Mayweather in his pro boxing debut in a bout that went on to record the second highest pay-per-view buy rate in the sport’s history.

In his most recent fight, “The Notorious” was unsuccessful in his bid for Khabib Nurmagomedov’s UFC lightweight title last October. The undefeated grappler submitted McGregor in round four of their UFC 229 main event clash.
