Jimuel Pacquiao floored Miguel Egan with a textbook one-two combo in the second round of their exhibition bout held Saturday in an MMA cage at Amoranto Sports Complex in Quezon City.

Jimuel, the 18-year-old son of boxing great Manny Pacquiao, unleashed a left hook to the head followed by a right to the jaw, sending Egan on the seat of his pants.

While Egan got up, the referee called a halt to the semi-amateur fight, sending the pro-Jimuel crowd in a frenzy.

Last February, Jimuel fought Carson Lucas in Alabang and made a good account of himself by throwing power punches like his legendary father, who initially expressed his disapproval of his son’s desire to follow his footsteps.

It could not be determined if Jimuel is pursuing a full-time boxing career in the amateurs or going into the pros.
