4:15 p.m. – Marinerang Pilipina vs F2 Logistics
7 p.m. – Generika-Ayala vs PLDT
F2 Logistics stakes its flawless record when it takes on winless Marinerang Pilipinas today in the Philippine Superliga All-Filipino Conference at the Muntinlupa Sports Center.
Match is at 4:15 p.m. with the Cargo Movers seeking their seventh straight victory and a sweep of the first-round eliminations.
F2 Logistics remains a force to reckon with after dropping only two sets in all its six victories. Its recent triumph – a quick 25-15, 25-14, 25-21 decision over Sta. Lucia last week – showed that they are getting stronger and more aggressive.
Fil-American Kalei Mau is expected to provide more energy to the Cargo Movers after posting 14 points the last time while reinforcements will come from Aby Maraño, Ara Galang, Michelle Cobb and libero Dawn Macandili.
F2 Logistics’ cohesion plays a vital role in its campaign but expect a hungry Marinerang Pilipina to come all out in its bid to end its five-game losing spell.
Judith Abil and Chiara Permentilla are not losing hope in steering Marinera to the elusive win as they seek for the right formula.
Meanwhile, Generika-Ayala tries to bounce back when it tackles PLDT Home Fibr at 7 p.m.
The Lifesavers saw their four-game winning run collapse after yielding to the Petron Blaze Spikers, 25-18, 25-12, 25-16, last Tuesday that put them at solo third with 4-2.
PLDT, for its part, is at joint fifth with 2-4 following a three-game slide.
